Name, Some Changes…

“What’s in a name? That which we call a rose, by any other name would smell as sweet,” – William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet.

But sometimes a name matters. The name, to a brand, is highly valuable. When they do go for a change in name, they have to spend hard and work hard on establishing the new one.

Taking this to digital media, the name of a website means something. At first, it is simply a site title. Afterwards, it becomes and/or should become a symbol of what is and what is to be expected when one enters the URL or search term. It is similar for a blog.

Why am I writing about this now? I am planning something for now – to take this blog a step further in its evolution. I have come far in writing and blogging. I am not great yet, but I sure am better now than how I used to be.

Coming back to “names”, I have named my blog(s) as SumThink, Null Thesis, Wise-n-Impulsive, ISpontein, Ideaverse, SeleMoir, etc. I have also run a podcast for a short period named Ideaverse, and another blog named GeeksArc.

Now, as I am taking a step forward, the thought of an apt name has been on my mind. Some ideas have crossed my mind. But SeleMoir is still at the top of the list for now. This blog will soon have its own place (in terms of a dedicated domain name), and Stories and Photographs will be there besides Articles (focused mainly on Technology, Business, and other Reflections).

No change is required in the part of the subscribers for now. WordPress Subscription service will still be active and be used. If any change does get implemented in subscription, a post will be made for the same (when another service can provide better convenience). Efforts will also continue to be there in the continuous improvement of the quality of the content published.

Let’s see how it goes…

Got something to say? Feel free! Just don't be too harsh.
